Museum of the Mundane is a digital gallery existing in a dystopian future where the metaverse is humanity’s only reality. The Museum of the Mundane asks; How will life change in a world where mundane responsibilities and encumbrances are no longer commonplace? Do we lose more than expected when day-to-day chores are eliminated? How will the creators of the metavese take advantage of those that long for the banal in its absence? This project explores the inevitable clinging-to and commodification of the mundane in a world where efficiency and entertainment are the priority. Visit the Museum of the Mundane here.
